Located in Milan’s Via Tortona zone, where the Fuori Salone del Mobile design fair and Milan fashion week events are held, the Ansaldo Workshops are La Scala’s production center, where scenery, costumes and everything else that features onstage in our productions is made. At over 20,000 m2, it is the world’s largest theatre workshop.
Take your guests on a voyage of discovery in a place where the artistic scope of a project meets the most noble of traditional crafts. Visit the spaces where costume designers, set designers, sculptors, dressmakers, carpenters and metalworkers give shape to La Scala’s productions.
Within these attractive surroundings, the dedicated space of the Visconti Pavilion (1,200m2) is the perfect venue for unique events, fashion shows, performances, exhibitions, filming, conferences, presentations, and many other functions.
