Subscriptions and Carnets

From 29 May to 19 September, subscribers of the 2023/2024 Season will be granted the possibility to renew their subscription for the same seat without additional presale fees.

Renewal channels

  • Online, directly from your user page after logging in to your account in the webshop
  • By email, by writing to [email protected] with payment:
    • by credit card, attach a front/back copy of the card and a signed authorization to charge the renewal amount
    • by bank transfer, attach a receipt of the transfer to "Fondazione Teatro alla Scala - Ufficio Biglietteria", IBAN IT60E0306903390100000000046, BIC/SWIFT code BCITITMM988.
  • By phone, calling the +39 02 99901922 (Mon-Sat, 10-18): payment by voucher or credit card.
  • At the Box Office (open from Monday to Saturday, from 12 noon to 6pm), payment by cash, card, voucher or cheque.

Shipment
Subscriptions can be issued as PDF e-ticket or in paper format. In the latter case, they will be shipped by registered mail starting from October, or can be collected at the Box Office from September.

Subscription renewal and payment can be done only by the title holder or by a delegated person.

From 29 May, fixed-date subscriptions for the new Season will be available for sale for all the seats not subject to the renewal right by previous subscribers. Carnets and Libero subscriptions will be available later, from 27 September.

New subscriptions can be purchased:

A maximum of 6 seats can be purchased by each subscriber. Entire boxes have to be booked in subscription (except for Under30/35 formulas and for Ticket Carnets).

Reduction
Subscribers enjoy 20% reduction with respect to single ticket prices.

Priority Seating Selection
Until 19 September 2024, subscribers may exercise the right to reserve their current seat for the upcoming season without any increase of the price.

Purchase tickets in advance at special price
Opera, Prime Opera, Balleto, Prime Balletto, Mini, Weekend, Sinfonica subscribers have the possibility to buy tickets in advance and with a 10% discount for the performances of the Season, online from the dedicated page of webshop of Teatro alla Scala (sent periodically by newsletter) or by telephone at the dedicated number +39 0299901922 (Monday to Saturday from 10am to 6pm).
The presale is available:

  • from 7 October 2024 for operas La forza del destino, Falstaff,  Die Walküre, Evgenij Onegin, Tosca, L'opera seria, Il nome della rosa, Trittico Kurt Weill and ballets Lo Schiaccianoci, Kratz / Preljocaj / De Bana, Peer Gynt;
  • from 8 January 2025 for operas Siegfried, Norma, La Cenerentola, Rigoletto, La Fille du régiment, Così fan tutte and balelts Paquita, Swan Lake, Aspects of Nijinsky, Serata Forsythe / The Blake works..

Every subscription gives the opportunity to buy 1 ticket for every title.
7th December Opening Night and Under30 previews are not included.

Additional subscriptions at a discounted price
Opera
and Prime Opera subscribers are entitled to a 10% discount if they add one or more Mini and Ballet season tickets to their subscription.
These purchases are available only at the Theatre Box Office.

Date Change Service
Prime, Opera, Ballet, Mini, Weekend and Symphonic subscribers, should they be unable to attend a performance on the allotted date, can take advantage of the “date change service” for the same production and sector, upon availability.
Date Change can be done directly online for free in your Reserved Area .
Alternatevely, above mentioned Subscribers (excluded Under 30 and 30/35) can ask for date change serve also by email and telephone, at the price of € 10 for opera and ballet performances and € 5 for concerts, with request within 48 hours from the date of the premiere of the production (specifying both the allotted date and the requested date change):

  • by email to [email protected];
  • by telephone at the dedicated number +39 0299901922 (Monday to Saturday from 10am to 7pm).

After a change of date, subscribers cannot regain their original seat.
Date changes cannot be requested by subscribers of the Cultural Promotion Service. Subscribers to boxes can only request a date change for the entire box.

  1. Subscriptions can be taken out or renewed only by the holder or by a person delegated by the holder.
     
  2. Subscribers will receive a ticket for each seat included in the subscription.
     
  3. Subscriptions are personal and not transferable. For companies the Teatro alla Scala suggest the "Corporate" Subscriptions.
     
  4. Subscribers who fail to attend on the date scheduled for their event forfeit any right with respect to that performance. Subscribers’ seats will be kept free and will not be used by the Theatre. Subscribers are entitled to request a date change, which can be done directly online in your Reserved Area or requested by mail to [email protected] or by phone to +39 02 999 019 22, at least 48 hours before the date of the performance. The online data change service is free. The telephone or email service has a cost, for any seating area, is of € 10 for Operas and Ballets and € 5 for Concerts and is confirmed only when the operator answers the request. The management reserves the right to allocate new seats and to use those unoccupied by subscribers, subject to availability. Date changes to opening and reserved performances are not possible. Date changes are not possible for Cultural Promotion Service subscriptions. "Under" subscription can only change online.
    Subscribers in boxes can only request the change of date for the entire box.
     
  5. Performances of particular artistic interest may be broadcast on television. The management reserves the right to move some seats in subscriptions for technical reasons.
     
  6. In the event of absolute necessity, the management reserves the right to alter the cast and to change dates or types of performance previously advertised in the programme.
