Every year since 2015, Teatro alla Scala has presented a special program with the most celebrated titles of the opera repertoire, translated and abridged for the occasion into language suited to children. In recent years, the project has been attended by hundreds of thousands of children, paying a symbolic ticket price of 1 euro to enjoy the shows both during the week on school trips, and the weekend with their families.

The Theatre offers also A series of performances-concerts specifically thought for the youngest audience and their families, with scripts and direction by Mario Acampa. Lalla & Skali characters guide children through a special adventure filled with sounds, instruments and fantastic stories, with the music and the voices from the Teatro alla Scala and La Scala Academy artists.
