In breve

On 12 October at 5:00 pm, the prestigious Teatro alla Scala hosts the Italian Air Force Band concert, “100 anni a Milano”, an event included in the celebratory program for the 100-year anniversary of the Italian Air Force in Milan. The institution established its first air command in the city in 1925.

The programme combines tradition and innovation, ranging from the most famous military marches to symphonic and contemporary pieces, offering a musical journey that celebrates the deep bond between the Italian Air Force, Milan, and the Lombardy region.

During the evening, the charitable initiative “Un dono dal cielo” will be highlighted. Promoted in connection with the concert, the initiative supports a solidarity project which, this year, is dedicated to the Ospedale Pediatrico Bambino Gesù in Rome.

The concert at Teatro alla Scala represents one of the most significant events in the centennial celebrations of the Italian Air Force in Milan, reaffirming the institution’s closeness to the local community and its citizens. It will be an evening of music and remembrance, bringing together institutions and the public in the spirit of shared values, paying tribute to a century-long history proudly projected toward the future.
