Once again, the capacity for innovation unites Edison and the Teatro alla Scala. Just as we brought the electric light to this temple of opera in 1883, so we will also be the first to offset its carbon emissions. Protecting the environment and saving energy must become a priority for each and every citizen. We believe that the opening night at La Scala is an important occasion on which to spread this message to an ever-growing audience.
