The series of concerts by the soloists of the Teatro alla Scala Academy for the Specialisation of Opera Singers makes its return in the Boxes Foyer.

The 11 singers are the students of the latest edition of the two-year course, which started this autumn. The cycle of concerts is only one of the numerous activities of the programme: in addition to studying with prestigious teachers such as Luis Alva, Renato Bruson, Mirella Freni and Luciana Serra, the young artists have the opportunity to perform frequent concerts.

The programme of the January performances includes works by Rossini, Donizetti, Gounod, Ponchielli, Saint-Saëns, Bizet, Massenet, Debussy, Cilea, Rachmaninov and Respighi, accompanied at the piano by Vincenzo Scalera.
