The audience in Munich wasn’t expecting so much from Mozart when he composed this opera, in which he interprets a story from the Greek mythology. Wolfgang Amadeus was only 25 years old, but he already knew everything about music and life.
Luc Bondy’s production, which opened the 2005-2006 Season, is returning in an updated and even more refined version, this time under the musical leading of Myung Whun Chung.
