For 3 years now the symphonic concert of Orchestra Verdi has been a regular event at the beginning of September. The visit of most dynamic orchestra in Milan symbolises the open relationship the Teatro alla Scala has established with Italian musical institutions.

This year’s concert ideally suits the return to activity after the summer break: an all-Gershwin and Bernstein programme, with the beautiful Concert in F and the irresistible Symphonic Dances from West Side Story, under the baton of the talented Wayne Marshall.
