The Chamber Ensemble of the Teatro alla Scala Academy returns to the Boxes Foyer for a series of concerts that explore 20th century music.

Their opening concert will highlight the relationship that has always existed between cinema and music. The works by Schönberg, Eisler and Dessau that will be performed were specially composed to accompany films. In addition the students will perform a piece by Dmitri Kourliandski.

The orchestra has been set up in the context of the Specialisation Course for Chamber Ensembles. It is made up of fifteen young musicians who have been trained by the principals of the Teatro alla Scala Orchestra.
