New concert of the Monday afternoon “Invitation to La Scala for the Young and the Elerly” series on 10 March.  And new concert of the principals of the Orchestra who together form the Quartetto d’Archi della Scala: Francesco Manara, Pierangelo Negri (violin), Simonide Braconi (viola) and Massimo Polidori (cello).

The programme is straightforward and goes from Haydn’s classicism to Dvořák’s “American” dash to Beethoven’s revolutionary composition.
