The cast is spectacular and the repertoire likely to conquer even the audiences least used to concert halls. The Percussionisti della Scala (La Scala’s Percussionists) display their talent as musicians but also as composers for the “Young and Elderly” series.
 
Carlos Chavez’ classic and still beautiful Toccata and Shostakovich’s curious “Waltz” from the film Pirogov will be complemented by three pieces composed by members of the Orchetra della Scala, two percussionists (Lenti and Bianchi) and a violinist-conductor (Ferrari). A guarantee of originality.
