Teatro alla Scala Academy
Founders
Supporting the Academy as a Founder means fostering the professional, artistic, technical and organisational culture through young people. Besides becoming ambassadors of the Italian cultural tradition, the younger generations will be the mediators of new expressions and values, through exchanges, shared projects and collaborations with artists.
The Teatro alla Scala aims at finding Corporate Partners that will make this ambitious project possible by associating their name to the Teatro alla Scala brand.
The sponsorship project, connected with the training, is an important form of cooperation between the Teatro alla Scala and its Founders. It will give rise to customised projects, integrated communication programmes, public relation activities, events, and exhibitions.
Founders are entitled to the following benefits:
- All the programme booklets of the (opera-ballet-symphonic) La Scala season will feature the Founders’ logos, on the page dedicated to the Academy (100 000 copies).
- The Founders’ logos will be printed in all the season calendars of the La Scala, on the page dedicated to the Academy (150 000 copies).
- The Founders’ logos will be featured in the Academy’s illustrated leaflets (10 000 copies), institutional brochure (20 000 copies) and calendar (5000 copies). The brochure is written in four languages.
- The Founders’ logos will be displayed on the Academy’s website with a link to their own website (697 874 visitors per year).
- The Founders’ logos will be included in the 2007 Academy calendar, which is given out to over 5000 institutions, amongst which schools, theatres, schools, conservatoires and public institutions.
- Press activities are expected to develop, with monthly publications on specialised magazines and general press.
- Communication activities: advertisement campaigns in the specialised and general press, radio, underground in Milan, leaflets in secondary schools.
- Development of new projects: planning of initiatives aimed at involving the whole Academy in exhibitions, conferences, concerts and shows.
- Upon specific request and in agreement with the Academy’s Management, Founders have the possibility to organise events (singing concerts, dance shows, music ensemble, exhibitions, etc.) involving the Academy’s artistic departments, both in Italy and abroad.
- Founders have the possibility to use the reserved areas of the Theatre Museum (when closed to the public), of the Visconti Pavilion situated in the Ansaldo Workshops, as well as the reception hall in the Academy for personalised events (meetings, presentations, special events, etc.).
- Founders have the possibility to use up to four reserved seats for every performance linked to the Academy’s artistic calendar.
"Academy Project" Sponsor
The "Academy Project" ("Progetto Accademia") production, which for 2007 is W. A. Mozart’s Così fan tutte opera, is the most challenging event of the whole training. At the end of the various training activities the students work together and put on an operatic production that is officially part of the Teatro alla Scala opera season.
Sponsors of the "Academy Project" enjoy several benefits such as:
- a TBD number of reserved seats
- participation in the possible press conference presenting the Project
- credits and logo on playbills, posters and sections relative to the show
- in cooperation with the Theatre possibility to develop all the initiatives that Sponsors will judge necessary to publicise and highlight their commitment
Events Sponsors
Every year the students’ education at the Academy is enriched with new symphony and chamber music concerts, opera and ballet performances, exhibitions and other events completing the training.
These initiatives provide Sponsors with a precious opportunity to associate their name with a project helping young artists to make their dreams come true, in return for visibility and a great image benefit.
