A bad fall on his back in October caused Maestro Daniel Barenboim difficulty in moving, which, with time, has resulted in severe pain in his right hip and leg.
Nevertheless, since October, the Maestro has been honouring all his commitments.
The worsening of his physical ailments has obliged Maestro Barenboim to seek intensive therapy, which is to be carried out under strict medical supervision in Berlin.
Hence, Maestro Barenboim will not be playing the piano in the Barbara Frittoli Recital accompanied by Fabrizio Meloni.
