Due to a sudden surgery, Maestro Semyon Bychkov is forced to withdraw from the direction of Die Frau ohne Schatten. Maestro Bychkov confirms anyway its commitment for the three symphonic concerts scheduled on 19, 21 and 22 March, for he will be out of convalescence by that time.
The new conductor on the music stand will be Marc Albrecht, new Amsterdam Opera Musical Director, and higly regarded performer of Strauss’ music.
