The ballet is divided into 4 parts:

1. ADOLESCENCE
2. MATURITY
3. GROWTH
4. ABANDONMENT

“The other side of the sky” is a ballet which
explores the female universe.

Three types of “women” are described.

Three characters,
three different figures are depicted
in four moments of their lives:

Adolescence,maturity, growth, abandonment.

The three women are:Albachiara, Silvia and
Susanna.

Through the four transformations, they will acquire
different names determining their characters and
destinies, and they will be represented by different
songs: Albachiara Anima fragile, Silvia Brava and
Susanna Gabri; in part three, Albachiara
Incredibile romantica, Silvia Brava Giulia and
Susanna Delusa.

Finally, in the last part:

Albachiara becomes Jenny (she is crazy) who
withdraws into silence and sleep, betrayed by her
dreams and illusions, weary of life and hurt by
reality.

Silvia becomes Laura who is expecting a child at
Christmas and who fulfils herself as a woman, the
mother of a family.

Susanna becomes Sally, a woman who is aware and
alone, proud and disillusioned but as ever untamed.

The show ends on the song Un senso
with the three women and the entire
dance company on stage.
