Continuing the tradition of the great Galas at La Scala – exceptional celebrations of first-class dance and spectacle – La Scala’s 2010/2011 Season programme features two Gala des Étoiles performances, the second of which coincides with World Dance Day on 29 April.

Featuring traditional and twentieth-century repertoire, best-loved ballets, virtuoso principal dancers, return performances by some of the most popular names in dance today, La Scala artistes and new stars, the Gala des Étoiles is an evening devoted to the leading-edge of an art that is constantly innovating, but always mindful of tradition.
