LaScalaUNDER30 is the project from the Teatro alla Scala dedicated to young people. During the 2015-2016 Season audience members between 6-30 can take advantage of a range of exclusives offers and new opportunities.
The central element of the programme is an online Community, which you can join by buying an UNDER30 Pass. Easy, quick and convenient: the Pass is the first step to living the Teatro alla Scala experience, keeping up to date and taking advantage of exclusive offers, including promotions, visits to the theatre, and much more. The UNDER30Pass can be bought online at www.lascalaunder30.org and at the Box Office.
UNDER30 Subscription (UNDER30Opera - UNDER30Ballet - Libero UNDER30)
With the UNDER30 Opera and Ballet subscriptions you can see three operas or three ballets almost at the price of one. With "Libero UNDER30" (Libero Opera, Libero Ballet, and Libero Concerto) you are free to choose your subscription by choosing three out of the five dates offered, and you are free to decide the dates when you come to the Theatre. The UNDER30Pass is free and you automatically become a member of the LaScalaUNDER30 Community. In addition to the offers under the Community, you can also enjoy a series of benefits reserved to UNDER30 subscribers.
The UNDER30 Opera and UNDER30 Ballet subscriptions can be bought online and at the Box Office. Libero UNDER30 can be bought online exclusively. UNDER30 subscriptions can be paired with a second subscription at full price for an accompanying person who is over the age limit. Date changes are not allowed for the UNDER30 subscriptions.
La Scala is renewing the successful appointment by dedicating the Preview of the opera that opens the season – Giovanna d'Arco (Joan of Arc) – on 4 December to young people under 30. It is an opportunity to live the magic of the Scala Season Opening and is also the first event for the La Scala UNDER30 Community. After last year's successfull experience the project also includes the preview of the ballet that opens the season, Cinderella, on 17 December.
UNDER30 subscription holders will be granted advance booking for both Previews while seats last. Tickets will be sold on the internet, through the Automatic Telephone Booking Service, at Authorised Sales Points and at the Central Box Office.
